Type Truck Visit

Here are some photos from the Pyramid-sponsored Type Truck stop earlier this month!

The truck parked just south of Dupont Circle on 19th Street NW (special thanks to Miranda for volunteering to take care of the permit application):

Truck owner, Kyle, talking with one of our visitors:

Leslie admires the map showing where the truck's been so far:

And a photo of Kyle's tour poster in its new home at Pyramid:

The event was a lot of fun. We wish Kyle a lot of luck on the rest of her tour and hope to see her again soon!

In the studio...

Molly's been trying her hand at making some greeting cards. Here are some photos of her first two:

Love them both! See her blog post about the cards and her etsy shop for more info!

Letterpress Calendar process

Just thought I'd share some links to posts that some of our 2012 Calendar printers wrote on their experiences designing and printing their pages!

June printer, Miranda Anderson, shows step-by-step photos of her printing process.

Molly Moran, half of the February duo, posts on her blog about her and Laura McLean's page.

Alyson Hurt (January) walks readers through her process.

For photos and purchase information, see our 2012 Letterpress Calendar page.

Happy Hour 11.2.11

Some photos from last week's Letterpress Happy Hour!

Erika came by to set type for her second color on these cards:

The second color is going to say "You're so sweet" underneath this list of sugars. Love it!

Alyson came by to pick up her Letterpress Calendars and also to play around with setting some type for her holiday cards. Here are some proofs:
